Since making his big league debut with the New York Mets in 2004, David Wright has been named to the National League All-Star team six times and has compiled almost 1,500 hits and a .300 batting average. Before breaking in with the Metropolitans, Wright used this Rawlings Big Stick bat for the Capital City Bombers, the Mets Minor League affiliate. Bat shows moderate use with a handle crack, and a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle. Wright’s name and the weight of the bat are written in blue pen on the knob, as are his initials “DW” in black Sharpie marker. The year “02” is engraved on the knob. Wright has signed this 456B model bat in blue on the barrel. Both the bats use and signature have been authenticated by PSA/DNA and each come with a full LOA.
