The C-46 Imperial Tobacco set is a Canadian issue of 90 cards representing players from the International League, one of the premiere minor leagues. Despite being a Canadian only issue, most of the teams within this set were south of the border with only teams from Montreal and Toronto located inside Canada. One player on the Toronto roster was a former major leaguer Johnny Lush, who won 66 games for Philadelphia and St. Louis of the National League. This example of Lush’s C-46 card is the best known example, grading a spectacular MINT 9 by PSA. This card boasts outstanding visuals, with superb dark tones, and bright, clean surfaces. Four sharp corners and an immaculately pristine reverse also highlight this remarkably preserved specimen. Of the 11 examples graded by PSA, this is the only example at its tier, with none higher! PSA Graded MINT 9.
