Two of the NFL’s all-time great quarterbacks, Joe Montana and Dan Marino squared off the in Super Bowl XIX at Stanford University on January 20, 1985. This vibrant, colorful and engaging 8” x 10” photo in 14” x 18” frame, signed by both in silver Sharpie, catches the pair of Western Pennsylvania natives participating in a bit of pre-game hoopla, seated on the hood of a taxi cab parked on the track surrounding the Stanford Stadium field. Montana’s number 16 and Marino’s number 13 are cut into the matte which is divided in half by the 49ers and Dolphins team colors with a shared gold metal label engraved with each QBs career accomplishments.
