Perhaps the greatest hitter of his era, Miguel Cabrera won the first of two consecutive batting titles (and counting) with a .344 average in 2011. He also led the league with 48 doubles and an insane .448 on-base-percentage. For an encore he followed it up with MLB’s first Triple Crown season in 45 years, leading the AL with 44 home runs, 139 RBI and a .330 batting average.
