Hall of Fame slugger and 12-time All-Star Dave Winfield swung this man-size, 35-inch, 35-ounce, 1987-1988 (labeling period) Louisville Slugger W273 model bat towards the tail end of his nine years with the New York Yankees. Winfield had a monster 1988 season hitting .322 with 25 home runs and 107 RBI, while being elected to his 12th consecutive All-Star game and finishing 4th in MVP voting. This dark black bat shows strong use with an array of ball marks around the barrel including a clearly legible blue ink transfer of American League president Bobby Brown’s facsimile signature in reverse as well as heavy concentration of pine tar on the handle. PSA/DNA sticker (#1B05738) is affixed to the knob; contains full PSA/DNA letter of authenticity.
