The sports pages were filled with daily news about his latest heroics. His presence in a game rendered moot any question of team loyalty: the fans first-and-foremost wanted to see this amazing player. In many ways, for many people, "MJ" became the game. Even now, years later, the observer's reaction upon viewing a highest-level Jordan tribute piece, as presented here, is an almost intoxicating, certainly priceless mixture of wonder, appreciation and nostalgia.
