Offered in this lot are three Franklin batting gloves worn by Mike Trout during 2010 MiLB action. Trout played for Class A Cedar Rapids and A+ Rancho Cucamonga in 2010, combining for a .341 batting average with 10 homers and 58 RBI between the two clubs. Trout was a mostly-unheralded prospect in 2010, starting the year at number “85” on Baseball America’s 2010 prospect rankings before jumping all the way to number “2” in 2011. A three-time American League Most Valuable Player, Trout is a surefire Hall of Fame inductee at the end of his career.
The batting gloves offered in this lot are two right-handed blue Franklin gloves, while the third glove is a left-handed green Franklin glove. Trout has signed the Franklin tag on the wrist of each glove in blue marker, inscribing “2010 G/U” on the two blue gloves and “10 G/U” on the green glove. The gloves each come with an individual LOA from Beckett Authentication Services and a LOA from Anderson Authentics.
