Graded NM+ 7.5 by SGC. Hall of Famer. Presented here is an abundantly appealing '53 Topps depiction, the Topps company's treasured second-year tribute to a New York Yankees icon. The attractive and sought-after collectible, presenting the prized illustration of "The Mick" with admirable clarity, retains extremely sharp corners. The red caption block on the cardfront's lower left is wonderfully bright with faint touches of wear confined to the delicate edges and the outermost tip. The card boasts truly splendid presentation quality. A very worthy example of this coveted early Mantle, in barely circulated Near Mint-plus condition.
