A pair of goals on his debut in 2002-03 gave the world a sneak peek at the otherworldly talents of Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo. The Sporting CP star played in his homeland for one season before embarking on his European journey, first for Manchester United, before starring for Real Madrid and Juventus over the course of nearly 20 seasons. One of two men to eclipse 100 international goals, Ronaldo’s legacy as a footballing legend is assured. Offered in this lot are six unopened packs of Panini “Mega Craques” cards from 2002-03, manufactured in Italy and distributed in Portugal, as well as a bonus pack from the 2004-05 season! Ronaldo shines on the front of the packs next to the iconic Porto and Barcelona midfielder Deco, as well as a diving goalkeeper and an additional pair of outfield players. Rare Ronaldo rookie cards possibly reside in the 2002-03 packs, while additional greats in the 2002-03 set include Deco, Ricardo Rocha, Ricardo Quaresma, and more. Several Portuguese footballers playing elsewhere in Europe, such as Luis Figo and Abel Xavier, are also included in this “Mega Craques” set. Each pack contains six trading cards and is unopened.
