Lawrence Taylor, one of the greatest linebackers in NFL history, signed this silver helmet commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Super Bowl. The Giants defeated the favored Buffalo Bills 20-19 in a contest that saw Scott Norwood miss a field goal wide right on the final play of the game that preserved New York’s first Super Bowl victory. Taylor signed the full-sized limited edition 2170/2500 Riddell helmet in blue Sharpie above the Riddell forehead plate. The helmet is mounted on a wood base, features the Super Bowl XXV logo on each side, and has a front and side silver stickers with black print that reads “SUPERBOWL XXV TAMPA STADIUM JANUARY 27, 1991.
