Just prior to the 1952 World Series between the Yankees and Brooklyn Dodgers, widely considered one of the greatest World Series of all time, the potential Yankee starting lineup poses for a group photo. This approximately 7” x 9” photo features from left to right Johnny Mize, Joe Collins, Gene Woodling, Gil McDougald, Hank Bauer, Phil Rizzuto, Billy Martin, Irv Noren, Yogi Berra and Mickey Mantle. Great feature is the empty stadium seats and the New York Yankee 50th Anniversary patches on the left shoulder.
