Offered is a 15.25” x 17.25’ New York Yankees team photo commemorating the “First team to win 5 consecutive World Series Championships 1949, ’50, ’51, ’52, ‘53”. While the lower left corner indicates this item was distributed by Ballantine & Sons in 1954, the photo is of the World Series Champion 1953 squad. This item is in wonderful condition, with light scratches, some light staining and a small chip to the masonite lower right corner. The original chain on the verso is intact, and fully functional. Usually these items are in very lower grade, referencing the active handling they received when they were issued.
