Former Chicago Bulls power forward Jason Caffey was selected 20th overall in the 1995 NBA Draft and would win two NBA titles while coming off of the bench for the star-laden Bulls that were led by Hall of Famers Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman. Caffey would spend his first two seasons in the NBA, averaging a respectable 7.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists during the 1996-97 season that saw the Bulls finish with a record of 69-13, just narrowly missing the 70-game mark for the second season in a row. The Bulls would go on to dispatch the Washington Bullets in three straight games in the first round, defeat the Atlanta Hawks in five games in the semifinals, and dispose of the Miami Heat in five games to head to their second consecutive NBA Finals. The Bulls would face regular season MVP Karl Malone and the Utah Jazz in the Finals, with the Bulls capturing their second consecutive title and their fifth title in seven years.

Presented here is a lot of five Jason Caffey Chicago Bulls personal memorabilia. The first three items in this lot are three unsigned uniform player contracts. The contracts are dated September 21st, 1995 and are between the Chicago Bulls and Jason Caffey for a three-year term. The top of the contracts are labeled “NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION UNIFORM PLAYER CONTRACT” and feature the NBA “Logoman” on the top left corner. The unsigned contracts are in good condition.

The fourth item is a full game ticket from the November 2, 1996 game between the Chicago Bulls and the Philadelphia 76ers at the United Center. The Bulls defeated the Sixers 115-86 in their first home game of the season. The ticket features the seating location on the top of the ticket. The midsection features “CHICAGO BULLS VS 76ers” with the date, location, and price of the ticket. The midsection features an image of the Bulls in celebration after capturing their fourth NBA title during the previous season. The ticket is in fair condition.

The final item is a Chicago Bulls luggage tag. The tag features the iconic Chicago Bull with “CHICAGO BULLS” written in black over the logo. The address of “550 Lake Cook Road Deerfield, IL 60015” and the phone number “(708)317-0070” are written in black of the plastic-covered luggage tag. The number “35” for Jason Caffey appears in black ink on the tag. The tag features a plastic fastener attached. The entire lot of five items from Jason Caffey’s time with the Bulls comes with a Letter of Provenance from the Chicago Bulls.
