Offered in this lot are two issues of the Uruguayan sporting magazines El Grafico and Mundo Uruguayo. The issue of Mundo Uruguayo is from August 7th, 1930, just after Uruguay triumphed over Argentina to win the inaugural FIFA World Cup.  On the front cover is an image of Uruguay captain Jose Nasazzi exchanging gifts with Argentina skipper Nolo Ferreira before their World Cup matchup. The second magazine, El Grafico, is from January of 1956. The magazine shows the same image of Nasazzi and Ferreira on the front cover. This magazine is filled with content from numerous South American sports, including automobile racing, basketball, track and field, and soccer. Both magazines are in good condition. These items come with a LOA confirming they are part of the Rony Almeida Soccer Collection.
