Offered in this lot are a dry-mounted poster and hat signed by members of the 1995 United States Women’s Soccer Team at the 1995 FIFA Women’s World Cup. These two items originate from the personal memorabilia collection of United States icon Michelle Akers. The poster, which measures 17 x 21 inches, has been signed by Michelle Akers, Mia Hamm, Tiffany Roberts, Debbie Keller, Thori Staples, Amanda Cromwell, Jennifer Lalor, Joy Fawcett, Julie Foudy, Carla Overbeck, Sarah Rafanelli, Tiffeny Milbrett, Tisha Venturini, Kristine Lilly, Linda Hamilton, Carin Gabarra, Briana Scurry, Saskia Webber, Mary Harvey, Holly Manthei, and two assistant coaches. The signatures have been written in black marker.
The hat in this lot has been signed by numerous members of the USWNT, including Hamm, Akers, Overbeck, Milbrett, Webber, Foudy, Hamilton, Staples, Lilly, Manthei, Fawcett, Scurry, Rafanelli, Cromwell, and Harvey in black marker. The cap and poster in this lot come with a JSA Auction LOA and a LOA from Michelle Akers. A portion of the proceeds shall benefit the Michelle Akers Horse Rescue & Outreach Inc.
