Offered in this lot are a pair of medals from the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil preliminary and final draws. The preliminary draw, held in Rio de Janeiro’s Marina da Gloria, took place in 2011 and decided the fixtures in upcoming qualification tournaments. The final draw was held at the Costa do Sauípe Resort in Bahia’s Mata de São Joãoin 2013. These two medals are both gold in color, with “FIFA WORLD CUP” and an image of the FIFA World Cup Trophy etched on the front of both medals. Etched on the reverse side of the first medal is “Preliminary Draw / 2014 FIFA World Cup / Brasil / Rio de Janeiro 2011” and the 2014 World Cup logo. Etched on the reverse side of the second medal is “Final Draw / 2014 FIFA World Cup / Brasil / Bahia 2013” and the 2014 World Cup logo. These medals come in the original presentation boxes and are accompanied by a LOA from Alexandre Silva Da Silveira, an official with the Brazilian Soccer Confederation.
