Presented is a lot of two Buffalo Sabres game-worn jerseys, including former Sabres left wing Evander Kane and former Sabres center Derek Roy. The first item in this lot is a Derek Roy game worn navy Buffalo Sabres jersey from the 2009-2010 National Hockey League season. This tie-neck jersey with white laces has Roy’s number, 9, embroidered on the right breast in yellow with a white border, and a navy-blue, white and yellow Buffalo Sabres logo patch embroidered on the front. There are yellow and white stripes around the bottom of the jersey, and on both sleeves. The collar is yellow. The back of the jersey has Roy’s name in yellow on a blue patch sewn above a large number 9, also in yellow with white outline. The same style of number is on both shoulders of the Reebok jersey. Roy was drafted 32nd overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft and played with Buffalo from 2003 through 2012. The 2009-2010 season saw the Sabres win the Northeast Division title and return to the playoffs for the first time in three seasons. Roy led the team in scoring with 69 points (26 goals, 43 assists). The second item in this lot is an Evander Kane game worn white Buffalo Sabres jersey used by the left winger in the 2016-2017 NHL season. The tie-neck jersey with white laces has Kane’s number, 9, embroidered on the right breast in blue with a yellow border, and a navy-blue, white and yellow Buffalo Sabres logo patch embroidered on the front. There are yellow, silver and navy-blue stripes around the bottom of the jersey, and on both sleeves. The collar is yellow. The back of the jersey has Kane’s name in navy-blue on a white patch sewn above a large number 9, also in navy-blue with yellow outline. The same style of number is on both shoulders of the Reebok jersey. The Reebok name is embroidered in white on the navy-blue back shoulder. The right sleeve of this jersey has a black and silver embroidered patch celebrating the 100th anniversary year of the NHL. There is a tear on the left sleeve just above the stripes, and some black stains just above the cuff. There is a tear on the right sleeve just below the stripes, and some black stains just above the cuff. Kane joined the Sabres by trade from the Winnipeg Jets on February 11, 2015. While the Sabres missed the playoffs for the sixth consecutive year in the 2016-2017 NHL season, Kane played in 70 games, collecting 43 points (28 goals, 15 assists).
