New York Mets star first baseman John Olerud wore this offered road Mets jersey during the 1997 MLB season. This button-down, size “48” jersey has a Mets skyline logo patch sewn on the left sleeve and a Jackie Robinson 50th anniversary patch on the right sleeve. "NEW YORK" is sewn on in Tuscan font on the front in blue and orange tackle twill. Olerud's number "5" is sewn on the front and back in blue and orange tackle twill with his name also sewn on in back in blue and orange tackle twill. This jersey shows light to moderate wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.

Also included in this lot is a pair of Nike Air high-top cleats worn by Olerud circa 1999. They are size 13 and have Olerud’s number “5” written on each cleat in black marker. These cleats show excellent wear and come with a LOA from JT Sports.
