Offered in this lot are two game used items from former American League MVP Josh Hamilton. The first item in this lot is a 2009 RX Sport JH 32 model bat. This bat was one of the first produced by RX Sport as Hamilton was their first ever client. RX Sport ultimately became Chandler. The model number is handwritten on the barrel in gold and this bat displays outstanding game use. This un-cracked bat has ball marks, and cleat imprints present on the barrel. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the face of the grain, which is a mandatory marking per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since January 2009. The handle has been taped in a spaced criss-cross pattern to enhance the grip and Hamilton’s number “32” has been handwritten in black marker on the knob’s manufacturer’s sticker. Hamilton has signed his name on the barrel in silver marker and inscribed “Hebrews 4:12”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B18213) and has been graded a perfect GU 10. His signature comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25443).

The second item in this lot are a pair of Pony cleats that were worn by Hamilton circa 2010. These cleats are size 19 and are a combination white and black with his number “32” embroidered in blue on the tongue straps. These cleats are a combination leather/patent leather with foam padded interiors and tongues and a Velcro fastener. The soles are hard rubber with nine stainless steel spikes on each shoe. “32” is embroidered on each heel and “Hambone” is embroidered on the inside of each Velcro strip. The tongues are tagged with scripture references “James 4:17” and Peter 3:18”. These cleats display excellent use. Hamilton has signed each cleat in silver marker on the top of the toes. These cleats come with a LOA from JT Sports for the game use and have been authenticated by Beckett Authentication for the signatures. There is also a signed LOA from former Major Leaguer Andruw Jones, who states that these cleats were given to him. A COA from Beckett Authentication (Q44937) authenticates Jones’ signature.
