Presented is a lot of two items from the Minnesota Twins inaugural season, including a 1961 Media Guide and a 1961 official program and scorecard. The first item in this lot is a copy of the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club 1961 Press – Radio – TV Guide. The 5 x 8-inch white paper book has a two-color cover which features a line drawing of Metropolitan Stadium. The 1961 schedule is on the back cover of the 44-page book, with clean and crisp white pages and no obvious defects. The second item in this lot is a copy of the Minnesota Twins 1961 Official Program and Score Card. The two-color front cover features an illustration of an early Twins logo with a player representing Minneapolis shaking hands with a player representing St. Paul over a background image of a baseball in the map of Minnesota. The 28-page, 8½ x 11-inch white paper book has two-color printing (red and blue) throughout. The scorecard in the center spread is inscribed in gray graphite pencil with the lineups and results for a game against the visiting New York Yankees. There is a 1½-inch tear in the upper right corner of the scorecard, otherwise the book is clean and crisp throughout.
