Offered here are two signed jerseys from two key players of the last New York Yankees World Series winning team - Mark Teixeira and Hideki Matsui. The first jersey is a New York Yankees home jersey signed by the three-time All-Star Mark Teixeira. This white, button-down home jersey has the Yankees interlocking “NY” logo sewn on the chest and Teixeira’s number “25” sewn on the back, both in navy tackle twill. “2009 World Series Champion / .292 BA, 39 HRs, 122 RBIs / 344 Total Bases / 2009 All Star / 2009 Gold Glove Award / 2009 Silver Slugger Award / AL Home Run & RBI Champion / Limited Edition of 25” is sewn on the back tail of the jersey. Teixeira has signed the “2” digit on the back of the jersey in silver marker. This jersey is a limited edition one of 25, and it is accompanied by a MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ 303325) and a COA from Steiner Sports.

The second jersey in this lot was signed by Hideki Matsui, who has signed this button-down New York Yankees pinstriped home jersey. Matsui, one of the most successful Japanese-born players in baseball history, hit 140 home runs with the Yankees and earned the 2009 World Series MVP Award. This jersey features a 2009 World Series patch sewn on the left sleeve, a 2009 Yankee Stadium inaugural season patch sewn on the right sleeve, and Matsui’s number “55” sewn on the back in navy tackle twill. Matsui has signed the first “5” digit on this size “44” jersey in silver marker. This jersey comes with a COA from Steiner Sports and a MLB Authenticated hologram (JB 120616).
