Offered here is a pair of signed batting gloves and signed cleats worn by Philadelphia Phillies star first baseman Ryan Howard during his MLB career. Howard is one of the few players in MLB history to win a Rookie of the Year and MVP award in consecutive seasons, clinching his Most Valuable Player trophy with a Triple Crown slash line of .313/58/149 in 2006. Howard, a World Series champion with the Phillies in 2008, last played in 2016 and retired with 382 homers and 1,194 RBI. The offered cleats are red, gray, and blue, with an Under Armour logo applied to each heel and each side of both shoes. “RH 6” is embroidered in white on the tongue. The soles of these size 16 cleats have six metal spikes. Howard has signed the toe of each cleat in black marker, inscribing “G.U.” beneath his signature.  

Also included in this lot is a pair of Howard’s Under Armour batting gloves. The gloves are gray a and white with a red and white Under Armour logo applied to the top of each hand. A red “RH6” tag is sewn on the underside of each wrist strap. Howard has signed the palm of each glove in black marker. The gloves and cleats each come with a LOA from Ryan Howard.
