Offered here are two game used caps worn by Hall of Famer Wade Boggs from the close of his Red Sox years and the beginnings of his Yankee years. The first hat was worn by Boggs during the 1989-1992 seasons, his final years with Boston. This size 7 3/8 cap is dark blue with the Boston “B” embroidered in red and white stitching. This cap displays excellent game use and Boggs’ number “26” is handwritten in black marker on the green underside brim. The New Era tagging is on the back inside head band, along with the size tag and “Authentic Diamond Collection” tag. Boggs has signed his name in black marker next to his number on the underside bill. This comes with a LOA from J.T. Sports (1011) for the game use and a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (B78628) for his signature.

The second cap is a New York Yankees hat that was worn by Boggs during the 1994-96 seasons. This New Era size 7 ¼ wool cap is dark blue with the Yankees’ interlocking “NY” embroidered in white on the front and the MLB logo on the back. Boggs’ number “12” is handwritten in black marker on the gray underside brim. This cap displays excellent game use with staining and other game marks. All of the tagging is sewn on the back inside head band and includes the New Era 59/59 tag, the size tag and the “Authentic Diamond Collection” tag. Boggs has signed his name in blue marker to the left of his handwritten number on the underside brim. This cap comes with a LOA from J.T. Sports (1012) for the game use and a LOA from Beckett Authentication for the signature.
