Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits. Offered here are two Louisville Slugger bats that were game use by Randolph during his playing career. The first bat is a black Louisville Slugger S2 model that displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact present on the barrel. Randolph’s number “30” is hand-painted in off-white on the knob and handwritten in silver marker on the top barrel. The second bat is a Louisville Slugger S44 model bat with a dark finish. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks and checking on the back barrel and Randolph’s number “30” is handwritten in black marker on the knob. Randolph has signed both bats in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “Game Used”. These bats come directly from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany these bats.
