The first item in this lot is a press pin from the 1953 World Series, a Yankees six-game series victory over the Brooklyn Dodgers. The pin is “V” shaped, with “World Series 1953 Press” printed on the pin around a Yankees top hat logo. This pin is in good condition.

The second item in this lot is a commemorative Lou Gehrig plate from a 1953 Old Timer’s Day game on August 22nd at Yankee Stadium. The plate is gold in color with a diameter of 9.25 inches. It is etched with “In Memory of Lou Gehrig Native New Yorker”, “Played in the Year of the 200th Anniversary of the City of New York”, “August 22nd 1953”, and “Old Timers Day Yankee Stadium”. Additionally, a small portrait of Gehrig and the Yankees logo are etched in this appealing plate. This commemorative plate is in good condition.

The final item in this lot is a plate commemorating the Yankees 1953 World Series title, their fifth in a row. The center of this plate is etched with a Yankees logo over a Roman numeral “V” and “1953 World Champions”. The years of the four previous World Series are also etched on this silver plate, as well as the facsimile signatures of the 1953 Bronx Bombers. This plate is in good condition, and it measures 13 inches in diameter.
