Presented here are three bats used and signed by Lee Smith. These bats, from the 1991, 1992, and 1993 All-Star games are all Rawlings Adirondack bats. Smith signed the first one “Lee Smith / 1991 All-Star” on the barrel in black marker. Smith, in his first year with the Cardinals, made the All-Star team but did not play. The second bat is from the 1992 All-Star Game. Smith did not appear in this game, but he signed the barrel in black marker, writing “Lee Smith / 1992 All-Star”. The third bat is from the 1993 All-Star Game. Smith signed the barrel in black marker, writing “Lee Smith / Game Used / 1993 All-Star”. Although Smith did not appear in any of these games, the bats show use consistent with use in batting practice. These bats come with individual LOAs from Lee Smith.
