This lot is stacked with value as it consists of a total of three (3) World Series Team Signed Louisville Slugger Baseball bats, two by the Champion New York Yankees and one by the Atlanta Braves. At this time Pendleton returned to the Braves in August and made his fifth and final World Series appearance. The returning World Series Champion Braves won the first two games decisively and things looked bleak for the young NY Yankees. Led by veteran's Wade Boggs, Tino Martinez, Paul O'Neill and Bernie Williams along with Rookie of the Year, Derek Jeter, and a cast of supporting young players such as Mariano Rivera & Andy Pettitte, the Yankees went on to win four straight games and won their First World Series in 18 Years.
The three black Terry Pendleton Issued World Series bats are signed in silver paint pen and consists of names like Derek Jeter, Joe Torre, Wade Boggs, Tim Raines, Andy Pettitte, Tino Martinez, Greg Maddux, John Smoltz, Chipper Jones and most of the team members of both League Champion teams. The bats were most likely signed during the Fall Classic as Derek Jeter's signature shows characteristics of his rookie year autograph. In his fifth and final World Series, Pendleton capture the moments beautifully with the three mementos and they come from his personal collection with a signed LOA. The signatures on the bats have been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication additionally.
