Presented here is a collection of three New York Mets batting practice jerseys from the 2006 season. The first BP jersey belonged to Kelly Stinnett, a catcher who played seven games with the Mets in 2006. “Mets” is sewn across the chest in black, white, and orange tackle twill. Stinnett’s number “36” is sewn on the chest and back in black, white, and orange tackle twill. “STINNETT” is sewn across the back shoulders in black, white, and orange tackle twill beneath a blue and orange MLB logo patch. A circular Mets skyline logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. A Majestic tag and a size “48” flag have been applied to the front left tail of the jersey. Stinnett has signed the six digit on the back in silver marker. This item comes with a Steiner-Mets LOA for batting practice use and a LOA from JSA for the signature.
The second jersey belonged to Jerry Manuel, a coach for the Mets from 2005 to 2008, and the manager of the Mets from 2008 to 2010. “Mets” is sewn across the chest of this blue and black jersey in black, white, and orange tackle twill. Manuel’s number “35” is sewn on the chest and back in black, white, and orange tackle twill. “MANUEL” is sewn across the back shoulders in black, white, and orange tackle twill beneath a blue and orange MLB logo patch. A circular Mets skyline logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. A Majestic tag and a size “46” flag have been applied to the front left tail of the jersey. This item comes with a Steiner-Mets LOA.
The third jersey belonged to Juan Padilla, a former relief pitcher for the Mets. “Mets” is sewn across the chest of this blue and black jersey in black, white, and orange tackle twill. Padilla’s number “28” is sewn on the chest and back in black, white, and orange tackle twill. “PADILLA” is sewn across the back shoulders in black, white, and orange tackle twill beneath a blue and orange MLB logo patch. A circular Mets skyline logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. A Majestic tag and a size “48” flag have been applied to the front left tail of the jersey. This item comes with a Steiner-Mets LOA.
