Presented here are three Mitchell and Ness New York Mets home jerseys worn by members of the 1969 Mets during the 40th Anniversary celebration of the Mets first World Series victory in 2009. The ceremony took place before the Mets August 22nd, 2009 game against the Philadelphia Phillies at the brand-new Citi Field. The first jersey has been signed by Al Jackson, an Original Met who was traded from the Mets to the Reds in June of 1969. He signed this jersey in blue marker. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 64986) and an Amazin’ Mets COA. The second jersey was signed by Wayne Garrett, a rookie third baseman for the Mets in 1969. He signed this jersey in blue marker. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 649865) and an Amazin’ Mets COA. The final jersey was worn by Rod Gaspar, another rookie on the 1969 team.
