Dick Enberg served as the voice of the Rose Bowl from 1980 through 1988. Enberg’s passion, joy for the sport of football, and energetic play-by-play style helped make Enberg one of the most important figures in Rose Bowl history. Offered here are three items originally presented to Enberg upon his induction to the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame in 2011.

The first item in this lot is a Rose Bowl Hall of Fame trophy originally given to Dick Enberg. The trophy takes the shape of an early 20th century football player with his helmet in his hand standing atop a wooden pedestal. The trophy measures approximately 22 inches tall. A plaque affixed to the pedestal reads “Pasadena Tournament of Roses / Dick Enberg / NBC Sports / Class of 2011”. Etched in high relief below the football player is “Rose Bowl Hall of Fame”. The second item in this lot is Enberg’s Rose Bowl Hall of Fame induction blazer. This blazer is black, with gold buttons bearing the Rose Bowl logo. Sewn on the breast pocket is a Rose Bowl logo and “Rose Bowl Hall of Fame 2011”. The final item in this lot is a framed photograph of Enberg riding in the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame car during the 2012 Pasadena Tournament of Roses. Enberg is photograph holding a sign bearing his beloved catchphrase, “Oh My!”. The photograph measures 20 x 16 inches and is displayed in a 28.5 x 26-inch frame. A plaque below the photograph reads “Rose Bowl Hall of Fame Inductee / Dick Enberg / Pasadena Tournament of Roses 2012”. This lot comes with a LOA from the Enberg family.
