Presented here are three basketballs signed by Boston Celtics Hall of Famers. The first ball is signed by arguably the greatest defensive player of all-time, Bill Russell. Russell, an 11-time NBA champion, revolutionized defense through his athleticism and shot blocking. He averaged a staggering 22.5 rebounds per game over his NBA career. Russell was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in 1975. He signed this basketball twice, once in silver marker and a second time in black. He added the inscription “#6” to the silver signature. This item comes with a PSA/DNA STICKER ONLY (1A06246).
The second ball is signed by KC Jones, a teammate of Russell at the University of San Francisco and with the Celtics. Jones, a shutdown defender, won eight titles with the Celtics and two more as a coach. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in 1989. He signed this ball in black marker. This item comes with a JSA STICKER ONLY (M62317).
The final ball is signed by Jo Jo White, the 1975-76 Finals MVP for the Boston Celtics. White played 10 of his 12 seasons for the Celtics and he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in 2015. He signed this ball in black marker, adding the inscription “#10”.
