Offered in this lot are three game used Detroit Tigers road jersey worn by three different pitchers from three different seasons. The first jersey was worn by Doug Fister, who wore this road jersey during Games 2 and 5 of the 2011 American League Division Series. Fister got the win in the deciding Game 5, when he pitched five innings and allowed only one earned run as the Tigers advanced to the ALCS with a nail-biting 3-2 victory over the New York Yankees.  This Majestic size 48 button-down Detroit Tigers road gray jersey has “Detroit” sewn on in navy, orange and white tackle twill across the chest with Fister’s number “58” sewn on the left center front in the same navy, orange and white. Navy blue piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The Majestic label is stitched to the lower right front tail with a white team strip tag that reads “58 48 ‘11 557”. The back of the jersey has “FISTER” and his number “58” sewn on in navy, orange and white tackle twill and the MLB logo patch sewn on in navy blue, white and orange on the upper back neck. The Majestic logo is embroidered in navy on the left sleeve and a memorial black patch shaped like a home plate that has “SPARKY 11” is sewn on the right sleeve in honor of former Tigers manager and Hall of Famer Sparky Anderson, who passed away in November of 2010. This jersey displays heavy game use with dirt and sweat stains throughout. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ824850), which dates this jersey to Games 2 and 5 of the 2011 ALDS.

The second jersey was worn by Justin Verlander, who wore this jersey for spring training in 2008. The jersey features “Detroit” scripted across the chest with Verlander’s number “35” below in navy on orange and white tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “VERLANDER” with his number “35” below, also in navy on orange and white tackle twill. The front left tail of the jersey boasts a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label with a white strip tag below that reads “35 48 08 ST 034.” This jersey displays light game use and comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (BB768131), please note that this jersey was classified as “Team Issued” a common designation for items collected after a player uses an item and not collected directly from that player.

The final jersey in this lot was worn by David Price, who last wore this jersey on June 17th, 2015. This gray, button down road jersey has “Detroit” sewn across the chest in navy, orange and white tackle twill. Price’s number “14” is sewn on the front and back of the jersey in navy, white and orange tackle twill. “PRICE” is sewn across the back shoulders in navy, orange and white tackle twill beneath a MLB logo patch. Navy piping accents the front and collar of this jersey. The underarm areas of this jersey are made of a gray mesh fabric. A Majestic size “48” tag with “JSG” for Tigers equipment manager Jim Schmakel is written in black marker is applied to the front left tail of the jersey. This jersey comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ866610), which dates this jersey to June 17th, 2015.
