Presented here is a collection of three items signed by New York Yankees legend Don Mattingly. Mattingly, the 1986 American League MVP, was one of the premier hitters of the 1980’s, combining home run power with an impeccable eye at the plate. Mattingly played his entire 14-year career in New York, making six All-Star teams and winning nine Gold Gloves. The first item in this lot is a replica New York Yankees home jersey signed by Mattingly on the chest in blue marker. Mattingly’s number “23” is sewn on the back of this jersey in navy tackle twill. The second item is an 8 x 10 inch color photograph of Mattingly applying a tag to a Cleveland Indians player. Mattingly has signed this photograph in blue marker. This photograph comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (AT 00313016). Finally, an Official American League Bobby Brown baseball signed on the sweet spot in blue pen by Mattingly is included.
