Presented here is a collection of United States Open tennis memorabilia from the personal collection of the legendary tennis broadcaster and all-around ubiquitous American sports presence Dick Enberg. The first item is an 8 x 10-inch photograph on poster board of Enberg and his fellow tennis icon Bud Collins. Collins has signed this photograph in black marker, inscribing a personal message of “To Dick, the Armada Oenologist and paragon of partners. Love and cheers!” and “Big W ‘98” in addition to his signature. This item comes with a COA from JSA.

The second item in this lot is a slabbed ticket from the final day of the 2003 U.S. Open at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Andy Roddick of the United States defeated Juan Carlos Ferrero in three sets to claim the Men’s Singles title, while Justine Henin-Hardenne swept aside Kim Clijsters in two sets during an all-Belgian Women’s Singles final. This ticket is slabbed to the dimensions of 4.5 x 9.5 inches. Printed on the bottom of the holder is “in Appreciation of Your Support of the 2003 U.S. Open”. The back of the ticket is printed with the results of the two finals. The third and final item in this lot is a slabbed ticket from the 2004 edition of the U.S. Open final day. Svetlana Kuznetsova beat Elena Dementieva to win the Women’s title, while Roger Federer crushed Lleyton Hewitt in the Men’s competition in straight sets. The ticket is slabbed to the dimensions of 3.5 x 7.5 inches, and the results of the tournament finals are printed on the back of the ticket. These items come with a LOA from the Enberg family.
