Offered here is a jersey, a pair of shorts, and a shooting shirt worn by Detroit Pistons star Grant Hill during the 1996-97 NBA season. Hill, playing in his third NBA season, averaged 21.4 points, nine rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game for the 54-28 Pistons. Hill, an All-Star, made his only All-NBA First Team appearance in 1996-97.

The offered jersey is teal, with “PISTONS” sewn across the chest in white and teal tackle twill. Hill’s number “33” is sewn on the chest and back in white, yellow, and black tackle twill. “HILL” is sewn across the back shoulders in white tackle twill. A gold NBA logo patch is sewn on the left chest, dating this jersey to the 1996-97 season. A Pistons “Body Length +4” and Champion size “48” tags are sewn on the front left tail. Hill has signed the first three digit on the chest in black marker. This jersey shows light wear and comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication for the signature (D84644).

The shorts are teal, and accented with black, yellow, and red stripes on the waistband, sides, and leg openings. A Pistons “DP” logo is sewn on the left leg and a gold NBA logo patch is sewn on the right leg. A Pistons “Rise +2 Inseam +2” tag is sewn on the back inside waistband. Hill’s number “33” has been written on the tag twice in black marker. Both the jersey and shorts come with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use.

Also included in this lot is Hill’s shooting shirt from the 1996-97 season. The front of the short sleeve pullover shirt is teal and the back is black. “PISTONS” is sewn on the chest in white. A large Pistons logo is sewn on the back of shirt. A NBA 50th Anniversary patch is sewn on the left sleeve. A Champion size “XXL” tag with “33” written on in black marker is sewn on the front left tail. This shooting shirt shows light wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema. The entire lot comes with a LOA from a retired employee of the Detroit Pistons.
