Presented here are four St. Louis Cardinals Spring Training jerseys worn by former Major League manager and 1997 World Series champion Jim Leyland. The first jersey is a numberless, white button down Cardinals jersey. The St. Louis logo is sewn on the front of the jersey in chenille stitched red, navy and yellow. “LEYLAND” is sewn across the back shoulders in red and navy tackle twill on a white nameplate underneath a MLB logo. A Rawlings tag with attached size “46” and “Set 1 1999” flags is sewn on the inside of the front left tail. While this jersey is tagged as 1999, its use is deemed to have occurred in the mid-2000s due to the placement of the MLB logo, according to game used jersey expert Dave Miedema. Leyland signed the front of this jersey in blue marker, adding the inscription “Spring Training”. The signature comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03604).

The second jersey is a white, button down Cardinals jersey. The St. Louis logo is sewn on the front of the jersey in chenille stitched red, navy and yellow. “LEYLAND” is sewn across the back shoulders in red and navy tackle twill on a white nameplate underneath a MLB logo. His number “10” is sewn on the front and back of the jersey in red and navy tackle twill. “Jim Leyland” is written on the back inside collar in black marker. A Majestic Authentic tag with an attached size “46” flag is sewn on the front left tail. Leyland signed the “1” on the back in black marker, adding the inscription “Spring Training” on the “0”. This jersey, which was likely worn in the mid-2000s, comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03601) for the signature.

The third jersey is a red Majestic Cool Base button down Spring Training warm up jersey. The St. Louis logo is sewn on the front of the jersey in chenille stitched red, navy and yellow on white tackle twill. “LEYLAND” is sewn across the back shoulders in white and navy tackle twill on a red nameplate underneath a MLB logo. His number “10” is sewn on the back in white and navy tackle twill. A cracking Majestic tag is applied to the front let tail of the jersey. Leyland signed the “1” in blue marker, adding the inscription “Spring Training Game Used” on the “0”. This jersey, which was likely worn in the mid-2000s, comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03603) for the signature.

The final jersey is a gray, road button down jersey worn during Spring Training in the mid-2000s. It is an older jersey, tagged in 2000, but the fact that a Majestic logo is sewn over the Rawlings logo on the left sleeve suggests it was used mid-decade. The St. Louis logo is sewn on the front of the jersey in chenille stitched red, navy and yellow. “LEYLAND” is sewn across the back shoulders in red and navy tackle twill on a gray nameplate underneath a MLB logo. His number “10” is sewn on the front and back in red and navy tackle twill. A Rawlings tag with attached “46” and “Set 1 2000” flags is sewn on the left front inside tail of the jersey. Leyland signed the “1” on the back in black marker, adding the inscription “Spring Training 2000” on the “0”. The signature comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C03602). All of these jerseys come with LOAs from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
