Presented here are four bases used during the New York Mets 2009 season. The first item is a is a base from milestone game in which Gary Sheffield became the 25^th player in Major League history to join the exclusive 500 Home Run Club. This game used base was used as third base for the seventh through ninth innings, when Sheffield hit his milestone home run. Sheffield has signed the top of this base in blue marker, adding the inscription “#10 500 HR Base”. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 188188) for both the game use and Sheffield’s signature and a Sheffield hologram.

The next base was used on April 27^th, during a Mets and Marlins game at Citi Field. It was used as third base for the fourth through sixth innings. Daniel Murphy hit the first triple in Citi Field history during the bottom of the sixth. Murphy has signed the top of this base in blue marker, inscribing “1^st Triple at Citi Field” beneath his signature. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 188930) and an Amazin’ Mets COA.

The next base was used during the seventh through ninth innings of the Mets 5-4 win over the Dodgers on July 8^th as first base. This game was punctuated by Daniel Murphy’s behind the back flip to Bobby Parnell at first in the seventh inning to nail Mark Loretta on an exceptional defensive play. Murphy has signed the top of this base in blue marker, inscribing “07/08/09” and “Behind the back flip to Parnell at first base!”. This item comes with a LOA from JSA (Z49810) and a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 413831). The final base was used on September 8^th, 2009, during the Mets 4-2 loss to the Marlins. This was used as third base from the seventh through ninth innings. Josh Thole, who collected his first career RBI earlier in this game, has signed the top of the base in blue marker, inscribing “09/08/09 1^st RBI in Majors” on the base as well. This item comes with an Amazin’ Mets COA and a MLB Authenticated hologram (LH 438671).
