Offered is a lot of four game-used Major League Baseball caps, including two signed caps. The first baseball cap in this lot is a game-used blue Texas Rangers cap with a red “T” embroidered on the front.  The cap is signed by former Rangers lefthanded pitcher Kevin Brown, in blue pen on the underside of the brim. In 1986, Brown was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the first round (fourth pick overall). Starting in 1989, Brown was second in the Rangers' rotation behind ace Nolan Ryan and posted a 12–9 record with a 3.35 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 1989 and a 12–10 record with a 3.60 ERA and 88 strikeouts in 1990. This cap comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (H39762).

The second baseball cap in this lot is a game-used Kansas City Royals cap with a white “KC” embroidered on the front and a white button on top. The cap is signed by former Royals pitcher Dan Quisenberry in black ballpoint pen on the underside of the brim. Quisenberry, a right-handed reliever, was noted for his submarine-style pitching delivery. He led the American League in saves a record five times (1980, 1982–85), and retired in 1990 with 244 saves, then the 6th-highest total in MLB history. This cap comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication (H39761).

The third baseball cap in this lot is a game-used Allen Anderson Minnesota Twins Wilson model cap, with the letters “TC” embroidered in white and red on the navy cap.  There are four small tan stains on the brim, and some white wear marks on the side and back edges.  The number “49” is inscribed in black marker on the underside of the brim. Former Twins pitcher Allen Anderson wore the number in the 1980s.  He was a pitcher over parts of six seasons (1986–1991) with the Twins, where he led the American League in ERA in 1988. For his career, he compiled a 49-54 record in 148 appearances, with a 4.11 ERA and 339 strikeouts. Anderson, though he pitched for the Twins during the team's World Series Championship seasons of 1987 and 1991, did not pitch in either postseason.

The fourth baseball cap in this lot is game-used Tony Gwynn San Diego Padres cap with the #19 inscribed in black marker inside the cap. The brown wool cap has the Padres “SD” logo embroidered in orange on the front, and light brown stitching on the brim.  The late Tony Gwynn wore #19 for all 20 seasons of his MLB career with San Diego. The left-handed hitting Gwynn won eight batting titles in his career, tied for the most in National League history. Gwynn had a .338 career batting average, never hitting below .309 in any full season. He was a 15-time All-Star. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.
