Offered here is a considerable collection of game used items originating from Cliff Floyd’s tenure with the New York Mets. Floyd played four seasons with the Mets, from 2003 through 2006. The first item in this lot is a pinstriped Mets home jersey worn by Floyd on July 2nd, 2005, against the Florida Marlins. Floyd went hitless in this game, a 7-3 Marlins victory, but reached base twice via walk and hit by pitch. Floyd has signed the back of this jersey in blue marker. This size “56” jersey comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (MT 00675207) and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication. The second item in this lot is Floyd’s cap worn on Opening Day 2006, a 3-2 home victory over the Washington Nationals on April 3rd. Floyd walked and scored a run in this victory. Floyd has signed this hat in silver marker. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 037658), a LOA from Mets-Steiner Collectibles and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
The third item in this lot is a blue Mets batting helmet worn by Floyd during Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS. Floyd appeared in this game, a St. Louis victory, as a pinch hitter in the bottom of the ninth. Floyd has signed the brim of this helmet in silver marker. This item comes with a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 234973), a LOA from Mets-Steiner Collectibles and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication. Finally, a black Franklin wristband embroidered with Floyd’s number “30” in white is included in this lot.
