Presented is a lot of four lunch and dinner menus from the former “Western White House” of President George W. Bush, Prairie Chapel Ranch, signed by the 43rd President of the United States and other world leaders, as well as an ornament from the Presidential Food Service of the White House. The first item in this lot is a Prairie Chapel Ranch menu from a February 21, 2003 dinner in honor of Spain’s President, Jose Maria Aznar and his wife with four signatures in black marker including President Aznar, President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush. The 5 x 7½-inch ivory card has black and gold printing. The second item in this lot is a 5 x 7 ½ -inch ivory card menu from Prairie Chapel Ranch for a March 23, 2005 luncheon with three signatures in black marker including President Bush. The third item in this lot is a 4 ½ x 7-inch ivory card menu from Prairie Chapel Ranch for a February 29, 2008 dinner honoring the Prime Minister of Denmark, with four signatures in black marker including Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen, First Lady Laura Bush and President George W. Bush. The fourth item in this lot is a 2007 Christmas ornament for the Presidential Food Service at the White House, in original presentation box. The 3-inch circular gold metal ornament is in the shape of a dinner plate, enameled in white, blue, red and green with two forks, a knife and a spoon, holly leaves and berries, and the seal of the White House. The ornament has a red ribbon at the top and is displayed in a white paper box with an interior red felt and plastic holder. The 1 x 5¼ x 5¼-inch white cardboard box has the legend inscribed in blue “2007 Limited Edition Collectible in Honor of the Men and Women of the Presidential Food Service Washington, D.C.” and the image of the ornament on the lid. This lot comes with a JSA Auction Letter.
