Offered in this lot are four game worn and issued items from the career of United States soccer icon Michelle Akers. Akers, a winner of the 1991 and 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cups, led the United States to victory in the first ever women’s soccer tournament at the Olympics in Atlanta in 1996. A former All-American at UCF, Akers is one of the few centurions in USWNT with over 100 goals for the Stars and Stripes. 

Included in this lot are two pairs of black Nike cleats held together with athletic tape bearing “AKERS” written in black marker. Also included is a red, white, and blue “USA” headband worn by Akers. The final item in this lot is a white armband with “Courage USA 10” embroidered on in blue. This lot comes with a LOA from Michelle Akers. A portion of the proceeds shall benefit the Michelle Akers Horse Rescue and Outreach Inc.
