Offered in this lot are four game used bat from former New York Mets players that included Roger Cedeno, Chris Woodward, Michael Tucker and Jorge Toca. The first bat in this lot was used by Cedeno, an outfielder who spent two stints with the New York Mets, with the first season in 1999 and then for two more seasons in 2002 and 2003. Cedeno used this Louisville Slugger C243 model bat during his stint with the Mets. This bat displays excellent use and is un-cracked. The barrel has ball marks and blue ink transfers, along with bat rack streaks. Cedeno’s number “19” is hand written in black marker on the knob end and top barrel. The second bat in this lot was used by Chris Woodward. Woodward spent his only season with the Mets in 2006 and used this Marucci CW4 Pro-Model bat. This bat displays excellent use and is un-cracked. There are numerous ball marks, stitch impressions, white leather scuffs and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact on the barrel. The handle has a coating of Mota Stick and Woodward’s number “4” is hand written in black marker on the knob and in silver on the top barrel.

The next bat in this lot was used by Michael Tucker in 2006. Tucker originally signed with the Washington Nationals prior to the 2006 season, but never played for the club as he was release by the club and picked up by the Mets. Tucker made his season debut with the Mets on August 10th. This SAM Bat JR 1 model bat was used by Tucker in 2006. The bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked There are ball marks, white leather scuffs and blue ink transfers on the barrel. Hand written on the top barrel is the bat’s manufacture date “2 23 06”. The bat has “WASHINGTON NATIONALS” printed in gold on the barrel. The final bat in this lot was used by utility-man Jorge Toca, who played for the Mets from 1999-2001. This bat displays moderate game use with ball marks and cleat imprints present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip, with part of the tape coming loose. Toca’s number “17” has been hand written in black marker on the knob and top barrel and Toca signed this bat in blue marker on the barrel. Toca’s signature comes with a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (C99789). This entire lot has been pre-certified by PSA/DNA for the game use.
