Offered here is a collection of five items signed by musicians of the 1950’s and 1960’s. The first item in this lot is Tony Bennett’s book Just Getting Started. Bennett has signed the inside of this book in black marker. The second item, a 3 x 5-inch cut, has been signed and inscribed “Love” by Dion in black marker. Next is a publicity photograph titled “The Roots of Rock and Roll”, signed by Johnny Carter of the Flamingos and three others. Finally, two signed album sleeves (with the records themselves) are included. The first record, Night Life, has been signed by Ray Price and inscribed “To Dave / Thanks for being so nice” in blue pen. The final record in this lot, Judith, has been signed by Judy Collins in purple pen. She inscribed “To Dave / From Judy Collins” as her signature. The “Roots of Rock and Roll” photograph comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A79327), while the remaining items come with COAs from Beckett Authentication Services (F63851, F63852, F63853, F63854).
