Presented here are five busts and figural representations of Notre Dame head coach Knute Rockne. The innovative Rockne is Notre Dame’s most famous coach, winning three national titles with a career record of 105-12-5. Tragically, Rockne was the victim of a 1931 plane crash, at the age of 43. Included in this lot are two full busts of Rockne, one of which is etched with “Knute Rockne / 1888-1931”. Two of the three figural representations of Rockne are bronze in color, with “Knute Rockne” etched on each of their bases. These items represent the perfect collector’s piece for any fan of the Fighting Irish.
