Included in this lot is a game used and signed Mike Piazza New York Mets cap, as well as four game used wristbands from the Hall of Fame catcher. The hat is monochrome black, with an American flag patch sewn on the left side. The presence of a sewn-on, rather than iron-on, flag patch indicates that this cap was worn post September 18th. Piazza has signed the brim of this size 7 3/8 cap in silver marker. His number “31” has been written on the inside of the cap in black marker. This item comes with a JSA STICKER ONLY (G56009) for the signature. The four wristbands were all manufactured by Rawlings. Three are black, two of which have an orange Rawlings logo and one has a red Rawlings logo. Piazza’s number “31” is embroidered in white on each black wristband. The final wristband is larger than the other three and is gray in color. A blue and red Rawlings logo is sewn on the wristband, which has Piazza’s number “31” embroidered in black. This lot comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
