Offered here is a collection of five game used items from the career of New York Mets pitcher Steve Trachsel. The first item in this lot is a home Mets jersey worn by Trachsel in 2001. This white pinstriped button-down jersey has “Mets” and Trachsel’s number “29” sewn on the front of the jersey and “TRACHSEL” and a second “19” sewn on the back, all in blue, orange, and black tackle twill. A Mets logo is sewn on the left sleeve above a blue Rawlings logo. A Rawlings tag with size “48” and “Set 2 2001” flags is sewn on the inside of the front left tail. Trachsel has signed the back of this jersey in blue marker. The jersey shows light wear and comes with a LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema. A COA from Beckett Authentication Services (F63980) covers Trachsel’s signature. The next item is a blue Nike long-sleeved undershirt worn by Trachsel in 2006. “29 Trax” is written in black marker on the MLB Authentic Collection tag applied to the front left tail. This undershirt comes with a COA from Steiner Sports dating its use to the 2006 campaign.

The next item in this lot is a black Mets right-handed batting helmet worn by Trachsel in 2005. The Mets blue, white, and orange logo is applied to the front. A “Trach” label is applied to the back of the helmet below a MLB logo while a “Trachsel” label is applied to the brim. Trachsel has signed the brim of this size 7 1/8 batting helmet in silver marker. This helmet comes with a LOA from Mets-Steiner Collectibles and a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (F63981). The next item in this lot is a black and blue Mets cap worn by Trachsel on May 29th, 2006 against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Trachsel has signed the brim of this size 7 1/8 cap in silver marker. The cap comes with a LOA from Mets-Steiner Collectibles, a MLB Authenticated hologram (BB 067534), and a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (F63982). Finally, two Nike Zoom Air size 11 black and white cleats are included in this lot. The right cleat has a silicone bumper on the toe to prevent the degradation of Trachsel’s push-off foot. His number “29” is written on the heel of each cleat. These cleats come with a LOA from JT Sports.
