Offered in this lot are five total bats, four being game used and one being game ready. The first bat in this lot was used by John Lowenstein during the 1877-79 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby S2 model bat displays light game use and is un-cracked. There are a few ball marks, cleat imprints and blue and red bat rack streaks present on the barrel. The model number “S2” is stamped on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12803). The second bat in this lot was used by Jim Fregosi during the 1977 and 1978 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby M159 model bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat imprints present on the barrel. Fregosi’s number “29” is hand written in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B12798).

The third bat in this lot was used by Jim Sundberg during the 1980-83 seasons. This Louisville Slugger C243 model bat was made game ready. There are some blue bat rack streaks visible on the handle and Sundberg’s number “10” has been hand written on the knob in black marker. Sundberg signed his name in silver marker and inscribed “85 world Champs Kansas City”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15439) for the game ready status and a COA from JSA (AA82266) for the signature. The next bat in this lot was used by Ruben Sierra. Sierra’s Adirondack 484A model bat was used by Ruben during the 1992 season. This bat displays heavy game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers, bat rack streaks, cleat imprints and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact present on the barrel. Sierra’s number “21” is hand written in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14995).

The final bat in this lot was used by Gabe Kapler during the 2000-03 seasons. This Rawlings 288RJ model bat displays heavy game use with a crack on the back barrel. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact present on the barrel. The upper handle has a heavy coating of pine tar and the barrel had been previously taped which has since been removed. Kapler’s number “18” has been hand written in black marker on the knob. Kapler signed his name in black marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15286), who have also indicated that this bat was also used for batting practice and a COA from JSA (AA82265) for the signature.
