Offered here are six multi-signed baseballs from the 1985 New York Yankees. After a 6-10 start, George Steinbrenner fired manager Yogi Berra and replaced him with Billy Martin. Martin, as manager, went 91-54 but the Yankees fell short of the Toronto Blue Jays for the American League Eastern Division crown. Five of the offered baseballs are Official American League Bobby Brown stamped balls with Hall of Famer Yogi Berra’s signature on the sweet spot. The other ball in this lot is an Official National League Charles S. Feeney stamped ball with Billy Martin’s signature on the sweet spot. Signatures in this lot include Hall of Famers Dave Winfield and Phil Niekro, along with Don Mattingly, Jay Howell, Joe Cowley, Dave Righetti and several others.
