Offered in this lot are six game used bats. The first bat was used by Mark Belanger during the 1973-75 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby B299 model bat displays excellent use and has a crack in the handle. There are ball marks and green bat rack streaks on the barrel and a light coating of pine tar on the handle. The model number “B299” is stamped on the knob and Belanger’s number “7” is handwritten in red marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B15188) for the game use and has been graded a GU 7.5.

The second bat was used by Lou Piniella during the 1977-79 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby S2 model bat displays outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact and green and blue bat rack streaks on the barrel. There is a moderate coating of pine tar on the handle. Piniella’s number “14” has been handwritten in black marker over numbers “23” or “26”. Piniella signed his name in blue marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13006) for the game use and a COA from (G15995).

The third bat in this lot was used by Rico Petrocelli during the 1969-72 seasons. This Hillerich & Bradsby U1 displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14068) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10. Please note that PSA/DNA LOA references additional provenances that will not accompany this bat.

The fourth bat was used by Dan Driessen during the 1986-87 seasons. Driessens’s Louisville Slugger S44 model bat displays outstanding game use with a crack on the barrel. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and cleat imprints on the barrel. The handle has been taped approximately 14 ½ inches in a criss-cross pattern with a palm pad to enhance the grip. “TIS” is handwritten in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13001) for the game use.

The last two bats were game ready bats. The first bat was made game ready for Ken Harrelson during the 1970-72 seasons. Harrelson’s Hillerich & Bradsby M110 model bat has the bat’s model number “M110” stamped on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17159) for the game ready status. The final bat was made game ready for Willie Wilson during the 1980-83 seasons. Wilson signed his name in silver marker on the barrel and inscribed “To Bill The Best always”, “#6”, “10-3-82” and “.332”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17158) for the game ready status and STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (AB73183) for the signature.
