For kids just getting into the game, it is reassuring to use a bat or glove endorsed by your favorite player. Usually these store model pieces of equipment are endorsed by contemporary players, yet due to his iconic standing in the game, Louisville Slugger has continued to make Jackie Robinson model bats available. These half-dozen bats are in light to un-used condition. A variety of Louisville Slugger finishes and center brands are represented in the lot as well as sizes: three of the bats have “4” stamped into the knob, two have “JR3” and one has “2”. This is a nice selection of junior model Jackie Robinson bats that have demonstrated number 42’s enduring legacy among young ballplayers.
